September 13, 2008 at 10AM - Madame Alexander and Friends Doll Auction. A large Madame Alexander doll collection from Blue Springs, MO consisting of approximately 1,500 Madame Alexander dolls and accessories, plus a large collection of Madame Alexander, Shirley Temple, Terri Lee, Barbie, Blythe and paper dolls from Olathe, KS. We welcome everyone back who attended the auctions in April for another auction similar in scope and size. This auction will not be held online, so please make plans to attend in person. We will start with a catalogued session of Madame Alexander dolls, followed by an uncatalogued session of everything else. We have a lot of dolls to sell in just one day, so expect the auction to last until about 5PM. We will post the catalog here as soon as we have it finished, which should be about one week before the auction. This will be a fantastic auction, with lots of variety, nice unopened doll sets from the 1950's and 1960's, rare Madames from the 1960's, Cissy dolls, lots of bent-knee walkers, nice paper dolls from the 1940's to the present and the list goes on and on. We look forward to seeing everyone back again in September. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Preview Saturday, 8AM. Please note: this doll auction will be held at our new location, inside the Kansas City Gift Mart, which is different than the location of the doll auctions we held in April.
